Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms of Service govern the relationship between QuickSort Algo Solutions ("QuickSort", "we", "us") and clients ("you") who engage our software development services. By commissioning a project, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

QuickSort provides custom software development services including web applications, mobile apps, APIs, e-commerce solutions, UI/UX design, and technology consulting. The exact scope of each engagement is defined in a written project proposal accepted by both parties.

2. Quotes & Proposals

All project quotes are fixed-price unless otherwise stated in writing. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Work begins only after the proposal has been accepted in writing and any agreed deposit has been received.

3. Payment Terms

Payment schedules are defined per project in the proposal. Typical structure:

  • A deposit is required to begin work (typically 30–50% of total)
  • Milestone payments may apply for larger projects
  • Final payment is due before final delivery or deployment

Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may result in work being paused until payment is received.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, you own 100% of all code, designs, assets, and deliverables created specifically for your project. There are no licensing fees, no lock-in, and no ongoing royalties.

QuickSort retains ownership of any pre-existing tools, libraries, or frameworks used in the project that were developed independently of your engagement. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licences.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide timely feedback and approvals as required during the project
  • Supply any content, assets, or access credentials needed for the work
  • Ensure that any materials you provide do not infringe third-party rights

Delays caused by late feedback or missing materials may affect agreed timelines without constituting a breach on QuickSort's part.

6. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared during the engagement. QuickSort will not disclose your project details, business information, or technical specifications to third parties without your consent.

7. Warranties & Liability

QuickSort warrants that all work will be performed professionally and to a reasonable standard. We provide a 30-day bug-fix warranty after final delivery, covering defects that prevent the software from functioning as specified.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickSort's liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the total fees paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a project engagement with 14 days' written notice. In the event of termination, you are liable for payment of all work completed up to the termination date. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply to new engagements entered into after the updated terms are published. Active projects continue under the terms in place at the time of agreement.
